Thin-layer Activated Carbon Purifiers, used for the adsorption of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) or odors, in very low concentrations, but not indicated for hydrochlorofluorocarbons. The “ST” series do not include any prefilter at the inlet and must be used only in the absence of solid particles. The activated carbon cells, made of perforated sheet metal for a bed of 80 mm thickness, are arranged vertically and are equipped with an upper coal loading hatch and unloading shutter at a height of about one meter from the ground. The “LST” purifier is equipped with F9 class (EN779) multiple pocket prefilters and it is indicated in cases where together with the VOCs there is also present a low concentration of solid particles. The prefilters, installed on special rails, have a quick replacemen systemt and are easily accessible thanks to the convenient side doors equipped with a micro position.
