Description

IMF 'tube fittings" are 3 pieces union type, designed to fit a device onto the pipe They are composed as follow: • The union part POS 01 • The BS ring or IMF composite seal POS 05 • The o-ring POS 02 • The nut POS 04 • The weld end POS 03 IMF tube fittings give you the following advantages: • Quality and precision of machining insure that there is no metal chips when screw and unscrew operation. • The plate face between the union part and the weld end makes easy the unmaking of a device from the pipe without moving it. • Leak tightness is only insured with seals: - O-ring POS 02 between the union part and the weld end - BS ring (rubber lip) or IMF composite seal (SS washer and o-ring) POS 05 between the fitting and the device. • By using neither PTFE tap nor glue, this leak tight avoids pollution of the circuit. The weld end are machined according your specification: • But welding (BW) to weld end to end Stainless steel or Carbon steel pipes. • Socket welding (SW) to weld by fitting of Stainless steel or Carbon steel pipes. • Brazing or screwed and brazing of Copper pipes. The nominal pressure mentioned in the summary (next page) is the max working pressure. The working pressure of main SS and Copper pipes is mentioned in the corresponding board. The real working pressure of the fitting is the less of these two values.
