Overview Access Portal V5.4 is a web-based access control software release focused on security library updates, new hardware integrations and extended edge-device functionality. Designed for straightforward deployment and remote administration from smartphones and tablets, the release strengthens biometric and controller integrations to support scalable enterprise installations.

Implementation & enrollment Facial enrollment supports live capture via webcam using a plug-in manager. Face iD devices can be added to existing Impro controller hardware via Wiegand or OSDP. The iTRT2 controller supports OSDP to enhance edge-device security and enable advanced controller modes.

Security & compliance This release delivers updated security libraries and controls to improve compliance with internal cybersecurity standards, including options for SQL Server database encryption and hardened device communications.
