During the printing process, solid debris can fall into the ink, directly affecting print quality and causing damage to printer components. The I-MIF ink filter extends the lifespan of printing equipment, significantly improving the quality of prints in the simplest way. The filter effectively removes solid particles from the ink circuit, resulting in more consistent ink and preventing issues such as "ghost prints" and scratches or damage to the system. I-MIF is very easy to install and is sized to fit any equipment. It can be supplied with ink inlet and outlet connections in various positions, with thread sizes of 1/2", 3/4". Depending on the type of ink and printing requirements, I-MIF includes internal stainless steel meshes ranging from 141 microns to 600 microns (we recommend finer meshes for better results). Contact us to choose the mesh that best suits your needs. We also offer the I-MIF/A system, an automated filtration system that provides 24/7 non-stop ink filtering. The system includes a pressure sensor at the filter inlet that detects when it is too clogged with debris and about to obstruct the ink flow, automatically redirecting the flow to a secondary filter (with the option to install three or more in series). This way, you won't need to stop production to clean the filters, and you can install finer meshes that better retain any solid residues. The I-MIF/A also serves as an excellent system for controlling ink flow pressure, reducing water hammer from pumps, and promoting a more continuous flow.
