DETAILS Ball size: 1/16″ Calibration details: This Rockwell indenter ball will be taken from a bonded batch of balls which comply to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 6508-2 and ASTM E18 Class B (for this compliance assessment measurement uncertainty was not taken into account) and will be calibrated and certified for diameter, hardness, roughness (Ra) and density. Calibration temp.: (23 ± 2) °C Relative humidity: < 70 %rh Uncertainty: The reported expanded uncertainty is based on the standard uncertainty of the measurement multiplied by a coverage factor k, such that the coverage propability corresponds to approximately 95%. The standard uncertainty is determined in accordance with EA 04/2. Traceability: The measurements are executed using standards for which the traceability to (inter) national standards has been demonstrated towards the RvA.
