Description
With the S7-IIoT gateway, you can easily and conveniently collect data points via S7 Ethernet or Modbus TCP. No changes to the existing S7 CPUs are necessary! As a standalone device, this highly communicative gateway does not burden PLC cycle times. Selected data points are made available in the OPC UA server and MQTT client (publisher / subscriber) for higher-level systems, including the typical functions such as logging. All of this without the need for PC software, because it is included onboard in a WebConfigurator. Just as required by RAMI4.0. And by the way, the integrated Node-RED can be used to implement hundreds of thousands of additional functions such as SMTP, FTP or tweeting, visualizing, reading aloud, etc.
