19” 3RU Chassis for up to 15 MMS Cards with optional Network Monitoring and facility for Dual Redundant Power Supplies
The Nimbra 143 is a cost effective and flexible Multiservice Modular System (MMS) designed to accommodate the growing number of broadcast signals that need to be transported over fiber optic cable. All standard video, audio and data formats can be accommodated with alarm and monitoring via GPI or Ethernet/SNMP.
From a simple point to point link or a complex optical infrastructure the Nimbra 140 Series combines the lowest cost of ownership, full broadcast specifications and robust energy efficient designs.
Multiple signals can be electrically multiplexed together as a single wavelength and up to 16 wavelengths can then be multiplexed onto a single fiber using CWDM. Optical splitters and switches provide redundancy for mission critical situations.
The Nimbra 143 is a 19” 3RU chassis for MMS cards. Each frame can hold up to 15
single slot cards. Redundant NI-PS65 power supplies are available as is the option for a 48V dc power input.
The NI-101 network card monitors the status of signals and power supplies within the frame. The Ethernet port allows Nimbra Vision or a third party SNMP management system to receive signal and power supply failure alarms. The card is fitted to the front of the Nimbra 143 frame.
The NI-PS65 90-250V AC 65W PSU are specifically made for the Nimbra 143 chassis. Two PSUs are required per frame for redundancy. (Order PSUs separately).
