Vertical bag filters designed and manufactured by INSTAL-FILTER S.A. are proven and reliable solutions used in air pollution control systems across various industries. These units are intended for the removal of dry dust from process gases, especially in applications requiring the treatment of large gas volumes.

As with horizontal filters, the filtration process is based on surface filtration – dust separation takes place on the outer surface of vertically arranged filter bags. Clean gas passes through the filter media into the interior of the bags and is then discharged via the clean gas chamber. The separated dust falls into the hopper and is conveyed using appropriately selected discharge systems.

Vertical filters by INSTAL-FILTER S.A. are particularly dedicated to high-capacity installations, enabling efficient cleaning of large gas streams while maintaining stable operating conditions. The vertical arrangement allows the use of long filter bags, increasing filtration area and improving overall system efficiency.

Each filter is individually engineered according to specific process requirements. The modular design – based on a set of independent chambers – allows flexible configuration in terms of capacity, layout, and height (including low-profile, tall, or twin-filter arrangements). This approach also facilitates transport and installation.

The filters can be designed and manufactured in compliance with ATEX requirements, ensuring safe operation in explosive dust atmospheres. Depending on the application, appropriate explosion protection systems such as venting, isolation, or suppression can be implemented.
