The brass process connection have am 14mm square block and a 1/4″ BSPP (parallel) male connection as standard, NPT also available. Typical use would be on fluid liquids that have a temperature below 60C and gases (excluding oxygen or acetylene). Glycerine filled gauges are particularly suitable for applications where oscillating pressure, surging pressure or vibration is present. A damping effect due to the filling makes the pointer steady and easier to take an accurate reading.
