Overview
Waterproof Blue is a polymer‑modified, water‑based liquid damp‑proof membrane designed for continuous waterproofing and vapour control on horizontal and vertical surfaces. The VOC‑free formulation cures to an elastic, crack‑bridging membrane that adheres during structural movement and resists UV exposure. It is suitable for new build and retrofit work where a seamless, joint‑free barrier is required.

Suitable substrates
Concrete slabs, block & beam floors, foundation walls, basement floors, kicker block upstands and external masonry surfaces — intended for locations where traditional plastic DPC/DPM would be used.

Application (Summary)

• STEP 1 – Fill joints and transitions around drainage/tube interfaces with a paintable waterproof sealant. If joints are <5 mm, enlarge before sealing.
• STEP 2 – Apply Waterproof Blue in two coats with a long‑pile roller or brush. Coverage (two coats): minimum 800 g/m2 total (approx. 400 g/m2 per coat), depending on substrate roughness. Apply the second coat crosswise to the first after the first is dry; check for full coverage.
• STEP 3 – When the second coat is dry (typically 24–48 hours), tiling may be installed. Suitable adhesives: cementitious glue class C2 or dispersion glue class D2TE (EN 12004).
