Intercarat has been manufacturing diaphragms for over 20 years. They are used as seats and separating diaphragms for water, liquids, vapours and gases, for example. They are also installed in actuators, as they can prevent slipping-sticking effects. We manufacture all common types such as flat diaphragms, cap diaphragms, dome-shaped diaphragms, plate-shaped diaphragms, corrugated diaphragms and rolling diaphragms in our French factory. Designs Elastomer diaphragms with a diameter of up to 400 mm can be manufactured using our state-of-the-art machinery, and our range of services also includes high-quality fabric reinforcement with polyamide or polyaramides. We supply rubber parts with PTFE lamination predominantly in processes with corrosive media, as well as pure PTFE diaphragms to the pharmaceutical, chemical and semiconductor industries. We provide materials with the corresponding approvals for use in drinking water treatment and in hygienic applications, as well as other applications. Multi-component parts Another strength of our company is the manufacture of composite parts using the compression moulding procedure (CM procedure). Examples of these parts include PEEK elastomer/plastic compounds or rubber/metal compounds.
