The ANAB X5 Special is a fully automatic sharpening machine and the most versatile product in the ANAB product range. It sharpens all chains currently available on the market with lengths of up to 5.5 meters. Thanks to its ability to handle long chains, the X5 Special has become the preferred choice for many for sharpening harvester chains. The closed protective housing for the water cooling system creates a clean working environment and a fantastic sharpening result. The water cooling system cools the chain optimally during the entire sharpening process. This means that the chain retains its sharpness up to 50% longer when sawing. In addition to the extended working time in continuous operation, the water cooling system enables a fast sharpening speed, which increases productivity. The sharpening program and the length of the chain are selected on the touchscreen control panel, the same control panel also controls the sharpening program. Cutting teeth and depth gauge are ground in a single operation with patented CBN grinding wheels. The machine recognizes whether the teeth are positioned on the right or on the left and adjusts the sharpening process accordingly. The ANAB X5 Special is also suitable for carbide-tipped chains, scraper chains and chipping chains with a pitch of 15 and 20 mm. It has fully adjustable sharpening angles from 0° to 35°.
