Short description
The Speed Former 50SB TN HM is a carton erector that automatically forms and seals the bottom of American-style boxes using a Hot Melt system (Nordson Mesa). It features a motorized horizontal magazine with a capacity of approximately 150 cartons and requires electrical and compressed-air supply. Right- or left-exit configuration available on request.

Phases of the erector's work
A Venturi-powered suction cup group picks a blank from the motorized magazine and holds it during opening using a clamping system. A pusher transfers the opened box to two motorized conveyors which carry it to the flap gluing and closing area. A pneumatic press inside the box secures the freshly glued flaps to complete the cycle. Operation and format/memory management are handled by a PLC with a Siemens touchscreen.
