Stratos ARS 5.0 consists of a self-adhesive bituminous compound, reinforced with an extra strong crossover glass-fibre mesh. Conceived to reinforce and load spread wherever road surfaces show first signs of cracks. Heavy load traffic can cause subsidences and alligator cracks on the road. Stratos ARS 5.0 offers a cost saving solution by a reduced thickness asphalt layer. The membrane is self-adhesive and therefore easy to apply on large damaged roads. Created and developed in conjunction with the experimental Road Laboratory of the Milan University. High breaking load; Slow down underneath pavement cracks; Cold applied on all road surfaces; Self-adhesive. Uses Reinforcing in case of subsidence and/or alligator skin cracks on demaged road surfaces; Jointing membrane between different subgrades for road extensions; Spreading loads over unstable cement subgrades in bituminous or standard mix.
