Our emergency safety eye/face showers, which can also be produced as ATEX certified (EXPROOF) for safe use in hazardous environments, are manufactured in accordance with the requirements stipulated by the ANSI/ISEA Z358.1-2014 and EN 15154-1 standards to ensure a safe working environment in terms of occupational health and safety. They have up-to-date certifications according to these standards.
Emergency shower and eye/face washes must provide a continuous flow of at least 11.4 liters per minute for 15 minutes for eye/face use and at least 75.7 liters per minute for 15 minutes for body use, as required by the standards, and meet this requirement by being connected to a water network.
Self-Draining: When the emergency shower is activated, water flows through the network pressure while the system shuts off under pressure. However, when the shower is turned off and the pressure is removed, the system automatically opens and drains any remaining water in the pipes, preventing water from staying in the pipes.
The water temperature must be maintained between 16-38°C according to the standard requirements. If the clean water supplied from the water network does not meet this temperature range, thermostatic mixing valves that mix hot and cold water from sources feeding the water network to achieve the ideal temperature can be included in the system.
