Description

Jeumont Electric has extensive experience of 2 pole generators with power of up to 100MVA. All the stator windings are insulated using the VPI process and the rotors have a brushless supply system. Jeumont Electric proposes four non-salient pole machines for high power. With hundreds of machines in operation, the technology used by Jeumont Electric is robust and reliable. All the stator windings are insulated using the VPI process and the rotors have a brushless supply system. Jegsy technology builds on Jeumont Electric’s experience in salient pole machines. The rotor is designed to avoid any risk of electrical faults via an innovative (patented) insulation and cooling system. All the stator windings are insulated using the VPI process and the rotors have a brushless supply system. Jegsy motors are available with 4 or 6 to 14 poles. Jeumont Electric manufactures all types of machine, from rapid 2 pole generators running at speeds of up to 8000 rpm, to very slow generators for all types of applications. Our design and production teams adapt to our customer’s needs for all types of generator, depending on the electrical or mechanical constraints. Where size is a problem, or where required by the customer, the stator windings can be insulated one section at a time, or one bar at a time (using the VPI or resin-rich process). The brushless excitation system can be replaced by slip rings if necessary.
