The JEWEL INSTRUMENTS Model 901 (horizontal) and 902 (vertical) biaxial clinometers are used for precise measuring of angular position, and offer the same performance as the previous Model 900, however, the 901 and 902 have a better, slim design, for narrow spaces. They are highly cost-efficient, and are mostly used as parts of underwater pressure housings, well logging tools, drilling equipment and similar devices. They perform measurement about two orthogonal axes. They also offer high voltage outputs, offering strong signals in case of long cabling. They feature a range of ±10°/±25°/±50° , with resolution of 0.005°/0.01°/0.02° , 2.5 or 0 to 5 V DC output, power supply from 8 to 24 V DC at 7 mA, or from 10.5 to 26 V DC at 7 mA for 0 to 5 V DC outputs, temperatures from -40 to 85 °C, and dimensions of 110.5x23.4x15.4 mm (901) or 110.5x23.4x23.4 mm (902).
