Summary VMS8000B Condition monitoring system provides continuous monitoring functions and is applicable to all industrial rotary machines. It adopts frame structure, can connect with many types of sensors (acceleration, velocity, displacement, eddy-current) and process sensor (flow, pressure, temperature, etc.) and performs real-time monitoring and protection of units or machines. It features strong expansion capability and compatibility and easy installation due to 19” standard case. Furthermore, it has various performances and advanced functions unparalleled by other systems. VMS8000B Condition monitoring system is an intelligent system with configuration software and can perform configuration of monitoring parameters. The system features more stable and safer operation owing to redundant power source design. This monitoring system adopts intelligent module design including: ■ 8000B/05 Instrument frame(Required) Installed with 19” panel. Card slot in far left of the frame specially provides position for interface module of power and frame. Other slots in frame can be randomly filled with module for supervision and relay module. All modules will be inserted into the baseplate of the frame and all the wirings shall be completed at the back of grame. • 8000B Configuration software(Required) The configuration software can configure the parameters of all the modules. •8000B/15 0ne or two power sources (Required) 8000B/15 contains AC and DC. Redundant power source can be used when single power is used in the frame or when power is not allowed to be cut off. Respectively locating in the top and bottom of the slot in far left.
