OverviewPolyester profiles provide a reliable, durable solution for structural elements in demanding industrial environments. Their excellent corrosion resistance makes them suitable for humid, chemical or aggressive atmospheres. Lightweight and straightforward to install, polyester profiles enable fast assembly while maintaining strong mechanical performance. Their low weight eases transport and handling and reduces loads on existing structures.
Performance, durability and safetyEngineered for intensive use, polyester profiles deliver long service life with minimal maintenance. They are a practical alternative to steel or aluminium when durability, safety and resistance to corrosive environments are key criteria. Typical uses include industrial walkways, access platforms, technical floors, runways, support structures and frameworks. Compatible with non-slip polyester gratings (possible compliance R13 - DIN 51130).
Benefits- Lightweight: significantly lighter than steel, facilitating handling, transport and installation without heavy lifting equipment.
- Mechanical strength: load-bearing capacity suitable for pedestrian loads, good flexural and compressive resistance.
- Corrosion resistance: not prone to rust and resistant to contact with chemicals.
- Electrical and thermal insulation: non-conductive, suitable for hazardous environments or sensitive areas.
- Low maintenance: no need for painting or anti-corrosion treatment; compatible with non-slip polyester gratings.
ManufacturingPolyester profiles are manufactured from glass-fibre-reinforced resin. Typical composition: approximately 65% glass fibre providing high strength in the load-bearing direction and 35% resin ensuring chemical resistance and UV stability.
