Description

The MAG(A) Ex incremental or absolute magnetic encoders have explosion protection according to ATEX: Gas (Zone 2, Ex II 3G Ex nC IIC T4 Gc). They are suitable for use in the most difficult conditions and for mounting situations where space is limited. The magnetic encoders are wear-free and insensitive to external magnetic fields as well as condensation and liquids (operation in media possible). They have a protective bandage made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). Reliable MAG(A) Ex magnetic encoders are extremely resistant to external influences such as vibration, shock or liquids and ensure optimal system availability. Long service life, no mechanical wear Precise signals due to special multiple scanning Robust mechanics and fully encapsulated electronics for heavy-duty use Protective bandage made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) Flexible MAG(A) Ex magnetic encoders are suitable for a large number of applications and mounting situations. For mounting situations with free shaft end Flexible number of scanning heads for multiple output signals Tailor-made and safe MAG(A) Ex magnetic encoders are designed, adapted and manufactured for the respective application. Engineering support enables customized solutions: recording of the installation situation, preparation of sketches and proposing of solutions, order-related design and calculation, manufacturing and delivery including all accessories, assembly, after-sales service Centrifugal force and fatigue resistance calculations for each application Technical data Number of pulses Up to 65536 Output signals 0° and 90° track, reference pulse, check output and inverted signals
