Unwinding/rewinding line for heavy-duty applications

This production line convinces with a combination of an efficient cable storage system and a mechanical winding machine. This enables unwinding, length measuring and cutting directly from the stored drum, thus saving time, storage space and personnel costs The application area of this LAGROL drum storage and unwinding system can be seen in conjunction with our motorised UMROL and MOTROL® winding machines in the production line. Our cutting and winding machines can be used to unwind directly from stored drums. This is made possible thanks to the solid design of the drum axles with retaining cones and braked axle holders with changeable brake pads. The axles for heavy drums have a drum carrier and cylindrical centring holders for smooth unwinding and braking of drums.
