Overview
The patented BALEiD by PAAL system automates bale identification by securely attaching a plastic label with an integrated RFID chip to each bale. This provides a unique, permanent identifier per bale and enables individual traceability. When data storage is enabled in the cloud, authorised stakeholders in the recycling chain can access relevant bale information.

How it works
A plastic label containing an RFID chip is placed between two baling wires that are subsequently twisted together during bale formation. The label becomes an integral part of the bale and carries a unique identifier, enabling automatic and secure attachment of the RFID-equipped label during the baling process.
