Product OverviewGuangdong Zhengli Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Kaishan, has industrialized scroll technology for small-displacement air compressors after extensive manufacturing experience and technological development. The scroll design offers simplified profile machining compared with 3D screw rotors, yielding lower production complexity while delivering reliable, low-maintenance operation suitable for energy-efficient air systems.
Application RangeThe scroll compressor is suitable for compressed air delivery between 0.5 m3/min and 3 m3/min, addressing light industrial and process applications requiring stable, low-noise compressed air.
Working principleLow-pressure air enters the working chambers through the suction port on the fixed scroll. The orbiting (moving) scroll rotates around the fixed scroll center, causing chambers to sequentially reduce in volume and compress the trapped air. Compressed air is discharged through the central exhaust port of the fixed scroll.
Structural advantages- Compact layout with small footprint and reduced weight.
- Limited variation of forces on moving parts, resulting in stable operation with low vibration and low acoustic emissions.
- Fewer moving components, improving durability and reducing failure points.
- High volumetric efficiency (approximately 98%), with favorable thermal and mechanical efficiency for small-displacement applications.
Characteristics / Technical specifications- Displacement range: 0.5 m3/min – 3 m3/min.
- Volumetric efficiency: ~98%.
- Compression mechanism: orbiting scroll + fixed scroll (scroll compression).
- Operational behavior: stable rotation, low vibration and low noise levels.
- Maintenance: minimal moving parts, lower operation and maintenance requirements.
- Manufacturing advantage: profile machining simpler than screw rotors; suitable for energy-saving compressed air installations.
