MULTICAL 62 is the excellent choice for smart metering systems and building management systems with its complete range of communication modules and integral Real Time Clock (RTC). This makes it easy to install and read the meter in both existing and new applications, independent of reading type. The meter can be fitted with LON, SIOX, M-Bus, data module and Metasys N2 plus Ethernet/IP for wired communication. If the meter is to be integrated in a wireless network, you can choose between radio, Wireless M-Bus, Zigbee or one of Kamstrup’s new modules: GSM/GPRS or High-Power RadioRouter. MULTICAL 62 is an ultrasonic water meter, which is used for measurement of cold water consumption up to 50°C and hot water consumption up to 90°C. The meter can be used in trade, industry and housing. Flow sensor MULTICAL 62 is a static water meter, which means that the ultrasonic sensor does not include any mechanical parts. Being a static meter prolongs the sensor’s lifetime considerably as it is immune to particles and not subject to wear. And even at low flows the sensor maintains its pinpoint accuracy throughout its entire lifetime due to its ultrasonic measuring method. Calculator All measurements, references, readings and calculations are controlled by an advanced microprocessor in the calculator. The accumulated water consumption is displayed in a given unit by 7 large digits. The display has been especially designed to obtain long lifetime and sharp contrast in spite of a wide temperature range. MULTICAL 62 includes data communication ports.
