Description

ZW-JXB series, the over-voltage protection device for neutral points of the transformer, which is dedicated to the neutral point circuit for the power transformer of 110kV and 220kV,protects the neutral point insulation from damages by over voltage, and realize the transformation between the two operating ways, earthing or no-earthing,for neutral points of the transformer. In the domestic, due to the needs of power system operationg,no-earthing operating way is mostly adopted for neutral points of the transformer in 110kV~220kV effective earthing system.Generally, the structure for the transformer is split-pole insulation, and the insulation level is relatively low.And it should be protected by no-earthing neutral points of the transformer, for the lightning overvoltage, switching overvoltage, and power frequency transient overvoltage. At present, for neutral point overvoltage, there are three protection ways that gaps ,arresters, and gaps and arresters in parallel. For the gaps protection,it mainly restricts power frequency overvoltage, switching overvoltage , and resonance overvoltage, and partially restrains lightning overvoltage. For the zinc-oxide arrester protection,it mainly restricts lightning overvoltage. The protection of gaps and arresters in parallel, which should be employed to protect the overvoltage of lightning, switching and power frequency at the same time. And the gaps protect the neutral point insulation of transformer and the arrester, and prevent the arrester from exploding without enough circulation.
