OverviewThe RC22M Reference Cell and Accessories system is a compact, modular solution for measuring irradiance, temperature and wind on commercial and industrial PV arrays. Main assembly part number 810323-01. Designed to pair with Mars™ sensors to provide accurate performance monitoring and to minimise soiling-related measurement bias.
Key features- Measures irradiance, wind and temperature: Irradiance range 0 to 1500 W/m², wind speed, back-of-module (BOM) temperature and ambient temperature.
- High accuracy across wide range: Auto-ranging design with calibrations at 1000 W/m² (STC) and 135 W/m² (BSTC) for reliable readings at both high and low irradiance.
- Glass-to-edge design: Hydrophobic glass-to-edge housing promotes water roll-off and reduces soiling to improve long-term measurement consistency.
- Modbus RTU communication: Digital RS485 (Modbus RTU) interface with user-settable address for straightforward integration into SCADA and data-logging systems.
- Modular and expandable: Supports optional wind speed sensors and RTDs for ambient and back-of-module temperature measurements.
- Easy installation and configuration: Compact, easy-to-mount package; optional cables and connectors available in multiple lengths. Configuration and calibration managed via dedicated software.
