ergo.® 1999 is a chemical primer, developed to improve the long term durability of ergo.® 1950 and 1955 when used for bonding on stainless steel and aluminium. Because the primer dries fast at room temperature, bonding can be done 1 to 3 minutes already after applying. Water and salt can attack bonded metal structures at the adhesive interface, thus potentially reduce the overall strength over time. The active agents in this primer allow durable, salt water resistant bonding on such metals.
