Description

AQUALINE valves, manufactured by KMT Waterjet in Baxter Springs, KS USA, are the most popular water-only cutting valve because the water-only cutting nozzles deliver precise and accurate cuts, ensuring high-quality results in various cutting applications. DURABILITY The KMT AQUALINE valve cutting head is built with quality materials and engineering, the AQUALINE cutting valve offers exceptional durability, capable of withstanding the demands of continuous and high-volume cutting operations. LONGEVITY Having the highest rated standards in quality control, the KMT AQUALINE cutting valve provides long-term reliability, minimizing downtime and ensuring consistent performance over its lifespan in water-only waterjet cutting systems. AQUALINE WATER-ONLY CUTTING HEADS COME IN 2 STYLES: Normally Open (NO) Normally Closed (NC) CYCLE TIMES: (Water @ 50,000psi) (MS – Milliseconds) NO VALVE OPEN: 48 MS CLOSED: 115 MS NC VALVE OPEN: 48 MS CLOSED: 160 MS NORMALLY OPEN VALVE (NO) • Normally Open Valve design: Stays open without applied pressure. • Requires air pressure for closure. • Loss of air pressure triggers automatic opening of the valve. • Automatically releases any stored water pressure for safety purposes. THE ADVANTAGESS OF THE NORMALLY CLOSED VALVE (NC) • Normally Closed Valve design: Remains closed without applied pressure. • Requires air pressure to initiate opening. • Holds water pressure within the system if air pressure is lost. • Ensures containment of water pressure for safety in the absence of air pressure.
