With the MERS 5 and the MERS 7 knitter-switch offers two encoders in smallest size: housing is 5,8×6,6 mm and 7,5×7,8mm by < 3mm height.The MERS 5 and MERS 7 offer 6/12 puls 12/24 detents per turn. They have both a hexagon hollow shaft and SMT mounting. Both products have a life of 100.000 and 300.000 cycles. Applications are for example Home automation, HVAC and consumer electronics. The MERS5 and MERS 7 series – as well as the complete wide range of standard DIL, tact, rotary encoder, toggle and push-button switches are available directly from knitter-switch and a number of distributors throughout Europe.
