Description

Product overview
The sideload cartoning machines from Körber are designed for secondary pharmaceutical packaging of blisters, ampoules, vials and similar primary packaging. These modular, building-block machines allow conversion of blister, sachet or stick‑pack equipment into complete, high‑performance production lines and are engineered to meet GMP requirements for small to high-volume production with accessible layout and easy format changeover.

Your benefits
  • Process reliability: digital counting units and precise format settings reduce errors during changeovers.
  • Time savings: excellent accessibility and tool-less format changes enable fast changeovers and short non‑productive times due to easy cleaning.
  • Flexibility: modular design and teach‑in processes for various leaflet lengths support later functional expansion.

Key features & functions
  • Modular, building‑block design allowing integration of additional functions at later dates.
  • Small footprint variants for small/medium batches and high‑speed variants for large volumes.
  • Patented carton separation and erecting unit for gentle, reliable carton handling.
  • Three‑point guidance and overhead conveyor for friction‑free carton transport and consistent carton quality.
  • Delta robotic integration on selected configurations for smooth blister transfer and stack building.
  • Smartphone‑like HMI with large customizable display, widget support (e.g., OEE) and individual job definition.
  • Pharma 4.0 readiness: standard interfaces, no proprietary systems, enabling data connectivity and OEE/line monitoring.
  • Operator‑friendly design: swivel/opening stations, tool‑less format changeover and easy cleaning access.

Models & highlights
P1600 / P3200
The P1600 and P3200 are flexible sideload cartoners for small and medium batch sizes with a modular concept and few format parts to enable later expansion.
Technical details (P1600 / P3200)
Carton format (LxWxH mm): 90 x 95 x 150
Output (boxes/min): P1600 = 150, P3200 = 300

P2 / P4
Intermittent‑motion sideload cartoners suited for solids and parenterals. P2 (120 mm and 180 mm pitches) offers versatility; P4 (120 mm) provides higher throughput approximately double that of P2 at comparable pitch.
Technical details (P2 / P4)
P2 (120 mm) – Min format (LxWxH mm): 65 x 30 x 15; Max format: 200 x 92 x 110; Output: approx. 150+ boxes/min
P2 (180 mm) – Max format: 200 x 152 x 110; Output: 120–150 boxes/min
P4 (120 mm) – Output: up to 300 boxes/min

P3
Continuous‑motion cartoner for high performance and flexible applications; ideal for large blister packs and multipacks when combined with upstream blister equipment.
Technical details (P3)
Format (LxWxH mm) – Min: 65 x 30 x 15; Max: 150 x 110 x 200
Output: up to 300 boxes/min

P5
High‑speed continuous cartoner delivering maximum throughput for large formats and high‑performance lines; modular design supports future extensions.
Technical details (P5)
Format (LxWxH mm) – Min: 65 x 30 x 15; Max: 200 x 152 x 110
Output: up to 500 boxes/min
