The newly developed superheated steam dryer is based on the world renowned HDT. The HDT-FX retains the unique feature of combining expansion and drying in one unit. High filling power of the final product and low running costs yield an excellent ROI. Future-oriented innovations make this dryer more flexible, faster and more efficient compared to its predecessor. For example, you can adjust the product temperature for each blend separately within a wide spectrum. Right down to even the rotary dryer's temperature range. For low temperature processing the HDT-FX will be designed to run at low process gas temperatures as well. This way, even the most delicate lamina retains its excellent favour and attractive colour. Both the integrated expansion unit and the drying section have been redesigned to give significant better fibre separation, thereby improving the homogeneity of the product treatment. The HDT-FX spells flexibility in capacities and application as well as sped and efficiency. After production is complete, the dryer cools down within minutes - no need to wait for hours, e.g. for maintenance.
