Overview KAM 1 is a unit specially developed to feed tobacco to high-speed makers with a capacity of up to 20,000 cpm. Two makers can be linked independently of each other to one KAM 1. The feeder has an integrated metering tube that acts as a reservoir. A conveyor belt and rakes transfer the tobacco to the specially designed suction nozzle, avoiding any de-blending of the cut filler.
