Product overviewCylindrical roller bearing NJ214C3 JP designed for high radial load capacity. Dimensions: inner diameter d = 70 mm, outer diameter D = 125 mm, width B = 24 mm.
Design and performanceCylindrical rollers with line contact between rollers and raceway provide high radial load capacity and good performance under shock loads. Rollers are convex-profiled to reduce contact stresses and friction, allowing operation at higher speeds. Available as single-row, multi-row (two- or four-row), with parallel or tapered bores and with lubrication holes or grooves where specified. Precision classes available include RBEC-5.
Materials and heat treatmentMost bearings are manufactured from low-carbon or alloy rolling bearing steels. Applications requiring higher surface hardness use case-hardened or through-hardened high-carbon bearing steel, using induction or conventional heat treatments to obtain a hardened running surface and ductile core.
Dimensions and selection dataThe bearing bore and outer diameter are key selection criteria. Metric bore designation uses a code system: for bore codes 04 and above multiply the code by 5 to obtain the bore diameter in millimetres. Other relevant data: total width, reference speed (oil), static and dynamic axial and radial load ratings.
Applications- Mining and aggregate processing
- Oil and gas
- Power generation
- Gearboxes, drives and heavy machinery
- Pulp and paper, cement, crushers, mixers
Maintenance and handlingBearings are commonly oil-lubricated, which also serves for cooling. Split inner and outer rings facilitate installation and removal. Correct lubrication and alignment prolong service life.
