Description

Overview The Aqua StormyBLAST wet blasting machine by KSP Machine is an industrial wet-abrasive cleaning and surface-preparation system designed for removing rust, coatings and contaminants while minimizing dust and emissions. The StormyBLAST series supports high-pressure water-abrasive operation with variants for varied workpiece sizes and production rates.

Key process features
  • Airless high-pressure vacuum gun: integrated pump-driven nozzle system removes the need for external compressors and delivers controlled abrasive impact across fragile to heavy parts.
  • Advanced nozzle architecture: micron-level cleaning precision for paint stripping, deoxidation and profile preparation prior to coating or plating.
  • Rotary basket handling: diameters 650–1000 mm with load capacity up to 150 kg (variant dependent); manual loading with optional automation for high-volume lines.
  • Shadow-free interior LED lighting and ergonomic gun mount with electric foot pedal control to enable two-handed handling of complex geometries.
  • Multi-stage filtration and separator tanks to capture debris and recycle abrasive media, extending consumable life.

Main benefits
  • Reduced airborne dust and zero visible emissions during operation.
  • Lower installation footprint by eliminating external compressors.
  • Up to 50% faster cycle times vs. conventional air-blasting in comparable applications.
  • Compatibility with heavy media (stainless steel shot, glass beads) and chemical passivation for combined cleaning and corrosion protection.

Typical applications
  • Surface preparation before painting, plating or coating
  • Rust and scale removal from metal components
  • Deburring and finishing of castings, forgings and fabricated parts
  • Pre-treatment for weld cleaning and inspection

Specifications (select)
  • Model family: StormyBLAST A800, A1200, A1300
  • Working area (mm): A800 = 800 x 750; A1200 = 1200 x 1050; A1300 = 1300 x 1150
  • Rotary basket diameter (mm): A800 = 650; A1200 = 800; A1300 = 1000
  • Max working pressure: up to 200 bar (standard operation 150 bar+)
  • Loading capacity (kg): A800 = 100; A1200 = 150; A1300 = 150
  • Cabinet tank capacity (L): A800 = 80; A1200 = 300; A1300 = 300
  • Separator tank capacity (L): A800 = 250; A1200 = 375; A1300 = 400
  • Filtration: 4-stage filtration system standard
  • Construction: AISI 430, 1.5 mm sheet metal
  • Electrical panel: 380 V (all variants)

Operation & maintenance notes
  • Regular filter checks and replacement are essential to preserve closed-loop reliability and pump life.
  • Avoid high-friction quartz abrasives; recommend industrial-grade glass beads or stainless steel shot for longevity.
  • Follow pump preservation protocols due to abrasive-laden water; scheduled maintenance reduces downtime.
  • Ensure safe handling at high pressures and train operators on foot-pedal controls and gun fixation procedures.
