Description

Digital Hand Tester - 1,500 lbf Capacity Built to order. Standard lead time 2-3 weeks. The DHT 1500 spring tester is a high-capacity / high-resolution version of our benchtop DHT (Digital Hand Tester) and can be used for tension and compression testing up to 1,500 lbf with great accuracy. Up to 72″ range (18″ standard) Up to 36″ stroke (13″ standard) Up to 8″ Ø platform (3.5″ Ø standard) The DHT 1500 spring tester is a high-capacity / high-resolution version of our benchtop DHT (Digital Hand Tester) and can be used for tension and compression testing up to 1,500 lbf with great accuracy. The standard pull length of 18” can be increased up to 72” with optional extended rods to to test very long parts. This spring tester can also be upgraded with options like Micro-Length Adjust with length stops and USB/RS232 ports. A two-line LED display shows force/length readings with indicator bars and features built-in deflection compensation for accurate measurements at all times. The tester is built from a rugged cast aluminum and steel frame, moves on a precision rack and pinion drive with adjustments for wear and features convenient hand operation to apply force and adjust length. It comes standard with 2 position stop rods, a standard length lock and mechanical overload stops to protect the tester from damage. The testing platforms include a 0.437″ thru-hole from the factory.
