Introduction CCD Image automatic measuring system combines computer software and the hardness tester. The entire test procedure is completed through easy keyboard and mouse operation, which avoids visual fatigue and human error, and can test different kinds of hardness. It is equipped with a CCD camera for easy observation and can directly observe and measure the indentation on the display. Test conditions can be set, and results are clearly and conveniently operated and displayed. The system can automatically calculate infiltration depth, perform statistical calculations, conversions, display curves, judge qualification, and save results as WORD or EXCEL documents. With a calibration grid, the system can automatically implement full calibration for grid intersection points to eliminate measurement error caused by lens distortion.
