The Leister VARIMAT 700 automatic welding machine features high contact pressure, ensuring consistent process reliability when welding thermoplastic membranes on flat roofs. The flexible rear transport axle provides for balanced handling and allows the VARIMAT 700 to track straight without correction. Depending on the application, it can be adjusted to accommodate either field seam or close edge detail welding.
The VARIMAT 700 automatic welding machine is designed for various applications: Whether for roof installation or swimming pool construction, waterproofing membranes are processed reliably, quickly, and economically. Truck tarpaulins and advertising banners can also be welded dependably with the VARIMAT 700. The increased contact pressure provides an advantage by compensating for unevenness in the substrate caused by fasteners, seams, or imperfections in the insulation. The sophisticated air partition concept, now separated from the pressure roller, prevents wrinkles during welding and ensures an attractive seam appearance while optimizing air flow.
