Battery-powered electromagnets are self-contained and can be used anywhere in the workshop.
The battery can handle several hundred loads before needing to be recharged from a 220 Vac socket.
It’s a very practical and economical lifting tool for moving sheet metal, shaped parts or rounds in units.
HBEP brings safety and speed to metal carpenters, oxy or laser cutters, boilermakers, but also steel distributors and steelmakers.
Operating principles
When the operator presses the button to magnetise, the battery delivers an electrical impulse to the internal coils surrounding the permanent magnets.
This has the effect of magnetising these magnets, which hold the charge. No more electricity is consumed. The load remains held until the operator removes it and commands demagnetisation.
The safety system will only accept the stop if the sensor indicates that the load has been set down.
During sheet pick-up operations, the operator can pre-select a power level to pick up only the top sheet of the bundle.
Directions for use
Mobile use: Battery-powered, it can be used in environments without a fixed power source.
Safe to use: Check that the green indicator light is on before lifting.
Optimised recharging: The battery provides autonomy for 1,000 cycles, so remember to recharge it regularly.
Adapted to loads: Select the magnetic mode according to the size and weight of the objects to be lifted.
Working conditions: Clean magnetic surfaces regularly to maintain efficiency.
