The accelerating climate revolution demands drive concepts which reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. That is why our new LTC 1050-3.1 compact crane has an electric motor in addition to its conventional power unit. This enables crane movements to be powered electrically as an option. The new version of the compact 50 tonne crane therefore helps to reduce CO2 emissions and meets the requirements for operating on “zero emissions” sites. The LTC crane takes the electricity for crane operations direct from the site. The compact crane retains all its familiar properties regardless of whether it is powered by the electric motor or the internal combustion engine. If the power supply is sufficient, its performance in electrical mode is comparable with when it is powered by the engine. If the power supply is lower, the performance of the crane is reduced accordingly. Zero emissions: Zero CO2 emissions went crane operations are powered by the electric motor. Full power: Comparable performance during crane operations, regardless of whether it is powered by the electric motor or internal combustion engine. Simply quiet: Noise emissions during crane operations powered by the electric motor are significantly reduced. Supplied from the site: Full performance with a 125 amp power supply, reduced performance with 32 A / 63 A. Supplied by stored power: Conventional external battery packs can also be used. It couldn’t be simpler: Maximum flexibility by quick changing between diesel-hydraulic and electro-hydraulic power at the touch of a switch.
