Segment clamping technology achieves exceptional, reliable and precise
clamping of the workpieces from the bore. These segment clamping arbors
are suitable for a wide range of applications within gear manufacturing.
They also offer further advantages compared with standard clamping
fixtures. Conventional systems often reach their limits, for example with
small workpieces with interfering contours - for SECLA, this is not a
problem!
For example, if the workpieces have to be chamfered up to the root
diameter during the ChamferCut process, the lean design is a great
advantage. Despite this lean design, the clamping system always
maintains excellent stability when working with large workpieces with a
massive rate of metal removal, because of the very low position of the
support.
