OverviewGeodesic dome projection tents by LIRI are temporary, transportable dome structures engineered for immersive 360° projection and integrated audio-visual installations. They combine a latticed geodesic shell with high-opacity PVC-coated fabric to create a controlled projection surface suitable for planetaria, dome cinemas and high-end experiential events.
Structure and DesignThe domes use a triangulated lattice shell where each panel forms a stable triangle. Modular, small-diameter struts simplify transport, assembly and storage. LIRI's structural upgrades allow a wide size range, including large-diameter domes tested for safety and stability.
Dome cinema system and experienceThe projection surface (PVC-coated fabric) is optimized for light projection and 360° panoramic playback. When combined with multi-channel surround audio, the system delivers a coherent immersive experience: panoramic imagery mapped to the curved surface and synchronized sound provide strong visual impact and enhanced information delivery.
