Our loading systems can meet all customer requirements, from high throughput and high variability to easily supplying individual cutting systems. As a key element in the loading of automatic lines, the crane loading system makes it possible to quickly feed any glass sheet in stock to the processing system fully automatically.
How is the crane loading system structured?
The automatic crane loading system consists of:
■ Glass storage racks (LBK)
■ Crane designed as a gantry, semi-gantry or bridge crane (PKL)
■ Rotating double suction frame (SBL) or FlyOver loading station (SBH)
■ Glass loading station (ATL)
The glass sheets are held and stored in the glass storage racks (LBK). The PKL uses a rotating double suction frame (SBL) or a FlyOver loading station (SBH) to transfer the requested glass sheet to a glass loading station (ATL), which transports the glass sheet for glass cutting.
How does crane loading work?
Glass storage racks - LBK
The glass sheets (usually in large format) are stored in the glass storage racks. The racks are made of a steel structure with felt covers to prevent damage to the glass sheets.

The gantry loading system has an electronically controlled drive system for the floor running gear, which runs either on flat guide rails or directly on the hall concrete floor. The automatic drive synchronisation is controlled by optical sensors and ensures exact positioning of the loading station relative to the receiving station. Solid bridge running gear enables the double vacuum suction cup frame to be moved;
