Safe heating of containers in hazardous areas Custom sizes to fit most containers and vessels LMK Thermosafe are fully certified and approved to design and manufacture hazardous area heating jackets to fit non-standard container sizes. These ATEX / IECEx Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 rated heating jackets can be designed to specifically fit containers that don’t fall within our standard range of heating jackets. They are constructed with a silicone coated glass cloth outer and high density fibreglass insulation. Safe operating conditions are maintained even in the presence of potentially explosive gases and dusts. No transformers are required as they operate using a standard single-phase 50/60Hz supply, and can be designed for voltages of 110-240v. Different zone temperature classifications are available. In most circumstances custom heating jackets are supplied with either a jacket, wall or roving stand-mounted ATEX / IECEx certified digital temperature controller. There are a number of digital controllers available for different operating requirements, but they all allow the user to set and clearly display the operating temperature of the heating jacket. The units can also include additional alarms, outputs, and control features.
