DescriptionDuplex is a multifunctional vulcanizer for laboratory and workshop use. Compact and versatile, it features 150 x 150 mm heating plates and a conversion kit supplied as standard that enables two distinct working methods. Temperature is set and displayed instantly via a digital thermostat; an analog timer provides quick setting of vulcanization time.

Working methods

• METHOD 1: Heating plates (2-5) transfer heat to the bracket (4) while the central piston (3) descends inside the bracket to compress the rubber matrix (6). This configuration is ideal for cylindrical or rectangular brackets with internal sliding metal shims (7-8). Pressure screw (1).
• METHOD 2: Attaching the supplied KIT (3) to the upper heating plate (2) using screws (7) blocks the central piston from descending. The upper heating plate then provides both heat and compression to the rubber matrix (6). This configuration is suitable for rectangular or cylindrical brackets without sliding shims.
