Saccharimeters are used to determine sugar content in sugar refineries, beer wort in breweries as well in laboratories to monitor the production. Each instrument type has a marking as to what is to be used for, e.g. saccharimeters for saccharose solutions or saccharimeters for the determination of beer wort.
