Description

That illuminator can generate pulses as short as 3 ns with energies from 2 to 10 µJ. It can support pulse repetition rates in the range 100-500 kHz, depending on output energy per pulse, with a maximum average power of 1 W. That module integrates a laser diode directly mounted onto a driver board according to an on-chip laser diode design, which makes this ultra-compact assembly ideal for integration into confined volumes, and bears a high potential for low cost production of this laser source. Various parameters regarding laser emission and electrical interface can be chosen by the customer. Components of that module have been selected to provide the highest possible efficiency, leading to a low power consumption, and the brightest possible emission. Additional equipment required to operate that illuminator, such as external power supplies and function generator, can be provided as an option. - Energy and pulse width from 2µJ/3ns to 10µJ/3ns - Maximal pulse repetition rate between 100 and 500 kHz - Up to 1 W average power - Single wavelength emission among 808, 905, 915, 940 or 980 nm (other wavelengths in option) - Fast-axis collimation upon request for one-bar diode design - High reliability (> 100 x 109 shots) - Robust design, shock and vibration resistant
