Generators produce nitrogen continuously, reducing costs associated with purchasing, transporting and storing nitrogen cylinders or tanks. Cutting-edge technology: the PSA systemMAC3 nitrogen generators are based on the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) principle. Compressed air is filtered and pre-treated to remove impurities, then passes through a column containing a carbon molecular sieve (CMS) that traps oxygen molecules and allows nitrogen to pass through. Alternating cycles of adsorption and regeneration produce nitrogen stably and continuously with a very high level of purity.
