AQ-715 is a low-foaming, powerful alkaline cleaner designed specifically for non-destructive testing processes. The heavy-duty, high alkaline aqueous cleaner is ideal for a wide range of materials and a variety of contaminates. A low-foaming all-purpose glycol-free alkaline cleaning solution that combnes a unique blend of surfactants and corrosion inhibitors that meet or exceed the specifications for most aerospace NDT applications for aqueous and alkaline cleaners. AQ-715 is designed for immersion, ultrasonic and spray applications. It is non-aggressive towards a wide range of metals, and can be used in concentrations up to 25 percent. It is high alkaline with low foaming levels for use in spray applications, contains inhibitors to protect metal surfaces from corrosion and it is also tolerant of hard water. AQ-715 is formulated with soil-rejecting properties, which suspend the solids in the cleaner after lifting them from the test material. Once the soils have settled out and lighter greases coalesce and float, the cleaner solution can be filtered and skimmed to extend its lifespan significantly beyond an emulsion type cleaner.
