OverviewThe CTE decantation and recirculation water treatment system is designed to clean and recover industrial process water used as coolant or tool cleaner in cutting, milling and machining operations. It enables closed-loop water recycling to reduce freshwater consumption and manage sludge from machining.
Function and operationWastewater is drawn from an underground reservoir and transferred by a submersible pump to a settler tank where sludge separates and is discharged periodically, manually or automatically. Clarified water is stored in a dedicated tank for reuse. All CTE systems include a station for preparation and dosing of flocculant agents. Systems operate in a closed, continuous cycle; makeup water required is approximately 1–2% of total treated volume to compensate process losses.
