Description

Conveyor pulleys are essential components used in conveyor systems to facilitate the movement of materials along a conveyor belt. MAINSK supplies conveyor pulleys in all of the following categories: Main pulleys (head) The head pulley is located at the discharge point of the conveyor. It typically drives the conveyor and is often larger in diameter than other pulleys. For better traction, it is usually coated (rubber or ceramic coating material). Return pulleys (tail) The tail pulley is located at the loading end of the belt, includes a flat surface or grid profile (wing pulley), which cleans the belt by allowing material to fall between the support members. Turning pulleys A deflection pulley improves drive pulley traction by increasing the wrap angle of the belt. Drive pulleys The head pulleys, which can also be the main pulley, are driven by a motor and a power transmission unit to drive the belt and material to the discharge. Deflector pulleys A deflector pulley is used to change the direction of the belt. Adjusting pulleys An adjustment pulley is used to provide the belt with the proper amount of tension. Its position is adjustable.
